Benjamin Franklin Fordham (born July 7, 1862), and Anna (Smith) Fordham were the parents of Edward M. Fordham.


Edward Martin Fordham (Eddie) was born July 7, 1899 in Chester,Georgia.

Eddie married Oudie Lucille (Hall) Fordham - born December 8, 1900 Georgia

In 1920,at age 23, Eddie and his 21 year old wife Oudie (Hall) Fordham were farmers living in Macon County, GA.

In 1936, at age 37, Eddie worked for the Edgar Brother's Company in McIntire, Georgia.

Eddie died April, 1966 in Jefferson, Georgia

Oudie died November 1970 in Bibb, Georgia

Eddie and Odie had the following 8 Children:

James Olen Fordham was born on May 16, 1918 in Chester, GA.


James O. Fordham
James married Dorothy (Dora) Louise Gustaferro   (Buresh).

James and Dora had 6 children.

Olen enlisted in the US Navy in Macon, Georgia on March 21, 1940 as an Apprentice Seaman. He fought in WWII against the Japanese Navel Units off Savo Island in 1942. He also fought in the Korean war in the 1950's and earned many medals while making his career in the US Navy. He retired an received an honorable discharge in 1956 listed as a Chief Gunner's Mate 1st Class.

Olen was 5'9", had blue eyes and weighed 175 pounds in 1955. He had two tatoos, a butterfly on his right forearm and a sailor girl on his left deltoid.

He was the driver in a 2 car collision at 3:50 PM on March 1, 1989 In Punta Gorda Florida. He died March 6, 1989 at age 70 from head injuries. At the time of his death his companion was Patricia Ann Wagstaft and lived in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Jimmy grew up in Roxbury with his seven siblings. He worked for many years at an oil company. Jim is retired and currently lives in Whitman, MA.

Stephen T. Fordham (Steve) (also known as 'Butch') was born September 4, 1946 in Chelsea, MA.

Steve married twice and has 2 sons, Stephen T Fordham, Jr., and Brian M. Fordham

Steve was self-employed in the printing / advertising business for many years. He retired in 2005. Steve currently is involved in a small mining operation in the Arizona Mineral Park area. He loves to travel and in 2007 he drove through twenty-nine (29) states, over 11,000 miles of sightseeing and mining.
